Crash SBH from Mo Po on Vimeo. I’ve been to this airport (St. Barths Gustaf) and it pretty much looks like this’ll happen everytime. Landing there is very scary and planes’ landing gear only clear the road at the top of the hill by a few feet.

The key is getting the gear on the ground before you waste 3/4 of the runway!  As a pilot you learn that the two big white blocks on the runway mean get your ass on the ground now.  The ones at the oposite end of the runway are for when you are landing from the oposite direction.  This guy obviously was a newbie, or he would have realized about half way that he needed to cancel that landing attempt and take another run at it.
